Hitler invades poland
On September 1,1939 Germany attacked Poland after making it look like Poland attacked first.They attacked them in the air and on the ground. Poland tried to fight back, unlike Austria. As a result of this attack, Great Britain and France declared war on Germany. Germany’s army had air strikes and tanks, Poland had horses.The Soviet Union entered Poland from the east because they had a pact with Germany. By September 27, Poland was taken over.This invasion was the start of World War II. -

The Battle of Britain began on July 10, 1940. Germany attacked Britain by bombing them. Hitler from Germany expected Britain to give in Churchill did not.
