Trench warfare begins.
Trench warfare was a stalemate between the central powers and the allies. It was used on the Western and Eastern Front. Mechanized warfare such as tanks, machine guns, barbed Wire, Mustard gas, and Zeppelins would all be the end of trench warfare. The land between the two trenches was considered; "No man's land". Militarism would lead all countries to such power. Warfare was terrible, the Battle of Marne was the bloodies battle. -

US joins the War
The US finally joins the war and ends its neutrality to fight Wilhelm II and send the Germans running.The Zimmerman telegram was also a big part of why the US went to war. Germany sent a telegram, that was intercepted, to the Mexicans to attack Germany. John Pershing would lead US into Europe. Breaking the Sussex pledge as well, US entering the war was inevitabled -
Russia exits the war
With the Brest-Litovsk the Russians went back home to deal with matter in there own country. Vladmir, Lenin lead the Red Russians against the Nicholas 11 and the White Russians. After the war, some Russian land would become Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia. The Red Russian, also known as the Bolsheviks, would lead the new Russian government. -
Armistice Day
11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, was the end of the war. The Treaty of Versailles would end the suffering. Change would happen after the war. The fourteen points were written to give Germans punishment for their wrong doing. Germany would pay reparations, but they did get a gift called the War Guilt Clause. French and Britain split up land, mandates, in the middle east such as: Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. -
League of Nations
Most European countries would join the league, but the most important country didn't USA was the reason it failed. Henry Cabot disagreed with this and would keep the US out of it.
