    My Little Girl Writes Again
I won’t get mad at you anymore sweetheart. It is very foolish of me to do so without a very good reason. But the first week on one of the boats, I got lost about 40 times it was huge. I started writing this around 2:00 am on Sunday then fell asleep at the YMCA. That’s why it’s taken me so long. But the next day on Monday we were on a coal ship all day. I would tell you all the stories but it would take too much time and we both know there's not a lot of that anymore.

I got your letter from a few days ago just now. I’m so sorry I couldn’t respond sooner. Tears came to my eyes reading it. I wish I could write more for you so you know how I'm doing.
