WW1 introduced a lot of new weapons and technology, but nothing as cool as the flamethrower. It used pressureised gas to spurt out burning oil/gas up to 40 meters. people used it to clear the front line. -
Carpenter enlisting
19 year old ablert John Carpenter enlisted in the 142nd infantry. He was origionaly in the national guard but decided to enlist. -
the first experience
It was the first day that ablert experienced actual warfare. he experienced artillery fire on both sides of the trenches throughout the day. -
when theres nothing to do
Albert has some pretty borning days from time to time. Nothing has happened in over a week. So Carpenter decides to dig a 10 inch hole and sleep in it.
