    Trench Warfare
    Trench warfare is a type of combat in which opposing troops fight while in trenches across from each other. Between the trenches was a space called 'No Man's Land'. It is a space in which neither sides have any control of the area and as soon as a troop sets foot on the land they have a higher risk of being shot. The trenches were located in the northern district of France and Belgium to the North Sea.

    Lusitania was hit by a torpedo shot by a German submarine off the coast of Ireland. It sank within 20 minutes in the Celtic Sea.1,198 people drowned in the sinking of the vessel. 128 of them were American.

Sedition Act made it so that it was a fedral offense to be disloyal, profane, scurrilious or use abusice language tpwards the government. It violated the 1st amendment because they rused to let them speak freely. They targeted mostly mexican decents.

    The 14 Points was a statement of principles for world peace that was to be used for peace negotiations in order to end World War I. The principles outlined in a January 8, 1918 speech on war aims and peace terms to the United States Congress by prsident Woodrow Wilson.

    During the Great War of Europe in the fall of 1918, peace was on the horizon. However, a flu was coming up. It was far from the common cold. It was most deadly for people of the ages 20 up until 40. Around 675,000 Americans died of the influenza.
