After that they both came together and the conflict emerged for the trenches and they shared a gesture of goodwill by drinking together, playing soccer, talking about the war, and singing Christmas songs together.

    When the soldiers were in the trenches they had a problem with rats, there were about millions infested rats in the trenches. These rats gorged themselves on human remains (some were as big as cats). One rat could produce 900 offspring, so it was impossible to get rid of them.
