The armistice happened because Germany was on offensive. In 1918 Germany gained territory but was exhausted to get their supplies and reinforcements. The allies pushed the Germans back a 100 days hiding because the Germans were too scared to push out due to the allies.The allies claimed ten kilometers to the east, the French were telling Germany to just surrender materials such as planes, ammo, machine guns etc. Germany gained territory but were tired to get their supplies and reinforcements

Wilson left for Paris to transform his 14 points into what became the treaty versailles. 7 months later Wilson came to the United States with an idea to make the ‘’ league of nations ‘’ . The League of Nations was a group that developed after World war 1. It was made in the 1920’s after the war to avoid warfare.

The germans went to mess up the british, had this ship called lusitania sinks. What happened was that 1,195 people were killed including 128 americans. This happened on May 7 1915. How this all happened was from the Germans knew were the British boats that were carrying guns, supplies, etc. British people were warned from the germans.They did not follow the law so that made the United States and European allies get involved.
