    The crusades were religious wars between the christians and muslims. Mainly to try to control holy land and territory. The crusaded created many knightly religious orders. The crusaders took jerusalem. After the crusades the wants for knowledge and exploring increased.

The exchange consisted of plants, animals, technology, crops food and diseases. The new world brought small pox killing a bunch of indians. The spanish brought horses to the new world.
