Those rivers supported life and helped the development of the Mesopotamian cities. This led to other civilizations around Mesopotamia and soon civilizations grew all over Europe, Asia, and Africa with Mesopotamia being the first. -

Rome has had one of the most important impacts on culture, and Europe. The roman empire was where the introduction to Christianity took place. The roman empire was the largest empire to ever be founded even including parts of Africa and Asia. The roman empire had some of the most important battles, technological advancements, and leaders ever. -

The death of Christ helped spark a religion. Jesus Christs death was so important it started a new dating era going from BC to AD. The life of Christ was what sparked one of the largest religions to date. -

Christopher Columbus exposes the Americas
The queen of Spain sent Christopher Columbus on an exploration across the Atlantic Ocean. He had expected to land in India but instead he landed in the Bahamas. This exposed new civilizations and new land that could be settled. -

World war two was the largest genocide including the Holocaust, and killings by Joseph Stalin. This war was one of the bloodiest wars ever conceived. This led to the invention of the atomic bomb which has changed the perspective, and risk of war. some areas effected by the war are still effected by it today
