Seneca Falls Convention
This was a convention of around 300 people voicing their concerns about the standings of women's problems such as the right to vote, or equal rights for that matter. Many important figures gathered and delivered speeches. This also prompted the demands reaching the public, voicing women's thoughts since the 1800s leading to suffrage movements later on. -

Sufferage Movement
This was the movement of the 19th Amendment which would allow the right for women to vote. This was led by two very important activists Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. They created a strong union of different associations in order to create a bigger population of people fighting for the same cause.

Susan B. Anthony advocated for not only women's rights to vote but abolitionist activist. She was a very strong leader who performed the act of voting when it was still illegal and was arrested. This had only fueled her intentions and led the National American Women’s Suffrage Association.

Rose Scott was a women's activist in the late 1800s, to early 1900s. She was able to help reform workers' rights for women as they would work for exhausting hours. Another great achievement was raising the age of consent as she believed it was harming

Dolores Huerta
Dolores fought for equality for female laborers alongside Cesar Chavez. She was a woman in power many people did not like yet she continued to reach out and protest these beliefs. She brought awareness to the sexism for farmworkers and still continues this fight.

This allows the inclusion of females in any activity, specifically sports that are found at school. This changed the whole sports system today at school as now millions of girls play sports. With the protection of being held under education, this moment was able to transform our society today.

9 to 5 Movement
This movement was a labor movement used to bring attention to women's struggles in the workspace. They were only allowed to be in offices and were harassed, sexually assaulted, and even raped by their bosses. This was able to brin women into better jobs and stop the discrimination in workplaces.

Sandra Day O'Connor was the first American woman to visit space. This moment alone breaks barriers and she became an influential role model to women all around. She was not only a role model in achieving dreams but actively promoted kids to pursue their dreams in sciences. At this time, barriers were slowly being broken towards equality so this created a huge impact on women's rights. -
Malala Yousafzai
Malala was an advocate at a young age the education rights for women. She would write every day about the problems faced and how she wanted to learn but was not able to. She brought awareness to this happening and was able to allow a free education for the girls in Pakistan.
