    In Senaca Falls, New York. 68 women and 32 men signed the Declaration Of Sentiments for equal rights for women. This event was very imoportant heading into the civil war. This event spread word of women's rights around the country.
  • First National Women's Rights Convention

    Woceter, Massachusetts. Over 1,000 participant. This event sparked the idea of women's rights worldwide.
  • Wyoming Passes First Women Sufferage Law

    Women begin to serve on juries the following year.
  • Women's Voting Passed

    In Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Washington, California, Oregon, Kansas, Arizona, Alaska, Illinoi, Montana, Nevada, New York, Michigan, South Dakota, and Oklahoma followed shortly after.
  • National Association Of Colored Women Is Formed

    Brought 100 Black women clubs together, Josephine St. Pierre Ruffin, Mary Church Terrell, and Anna Julia Cooper were all leaders of the group.
  • First U.S Birth Control Clinic Opens

    Margret Sanger opens the clinic in Brooklyn, New York, the clinic was shut down 10 years later due to Sanger's arrest.
  • Federal Women Sufferage Movement Passed By Congress

    Susan B. Anthony created the document and sent it to congress to be ratified by the other states.
  • 19 Amendment Giving Women The Right To Vote Is Signed By Congress
