In Seneca Falls, New York 68 women and 32 men-- out of the 300 attendees-- sign the Declaration of Sentiments which demanded equality with men before the law, in education and employment. -

Wyoming Suffrage Law
Women gain the right to vote when Wyoming passes the first women's suffrage law. Next year women are serving on Juries -
Roe vs. Wade
As a result of Roe v. Wade the Supreme Court establishes a woman's right to safe and legal abortion, overriding the anti-abortion laws of many states.
