Ida B. Wells
Ida B. Wells was an African American woman who not only played a role in women's suffrage, but brought to light the lynching that white women were ignoring during the suffrage movement. She was a founder of the National Association of Colored Women Club. She was also involved with the founding of the NAACP. -

Maragert Sanger
Margaret Sanger was the founder of the American Birth Control League. She was determined to help women have control over their right to reproduce. She helped distribute birth control and provided safer abortions. Her legacy is known as Planned Parenthood today.
