Susan B. Anthony Contributed to the Rights of Labors and Equal pay for equal work. Susan B. Anthony traveled the work to make speeches in favor of women's surface. Susan B. Anthony paved the way for the 19th amenbment and the rights for women. -
Alice Paul
Alice Paul is an outspoken leader of the women’s suffrage movement. She helped Elizabeth Cady and Susan B. Anthony in the movement for women the right to vote. -

In 1910 states began to expand voting right for women. National woman's party Alice Paul established by Alice Paul. The National woman's party helled striks outside of the Whitehouse. After all the campaing and srtiks the 19 amendment was in placed. -

The Nation Origins Act is when the United States set an immigration policy where the United States excluded people (Eastern European and Asia) in approval of other countries (Northern Europeans and Great Britain's people) just to name a few. -
The Vietnam war
The Vietnam war lasted 20 years. The United States joined forces southeast Asia Treaty organization to beat South Vietnam. The Vietnam war as the only war that America lost. -
Equal work for equal pay act
The women were fighting for equal pay for equal work. Women were finally able to work in the same jobs as men but they found that they were getting paid less than men because of their sex. The equal pay for equal work act forbids gender-bias wage. That means the employers were not allowed to pay men more and women less for jobs that enforce the same skills and responsibilities. -
Married Women's Property Act revision
The Revision let women keep half of the money that they owed from their husbands. This let the women have more independence of their money. The revision did not let women have full control of there own money and means that they are still attached to their husbands. -
The NOW foundation
The National organization for women known as NOW was funded. The NOW foundation helped end sex discrimination. -
National WLM conference
National WLM conference, Oxford. 600 women attended this conference. They all talked about Equal pay, Equal educational and job opportunities, free contraception and abortion on demand, and free 24-hour nurseries. This event is important because it was the first time all the women got together to talk about these important issues. -
