Even though Bluetooth was first created by Jaap C. Haartsen in 1999, it became available to the public in 2000 when companies such as Apple and Verizon were putting it into their devices. Bluetooth allowed people to connect bluetooth devices to their phones without even having to use wires. Bluetooth is wireless connection. -
Camera Phone
It was the year 2000, and the first camera phone was publicly available. Philippe Khan created the first camera phone. It had a CCD sensor, which let users take pictures on the go and had MMS (also known as Sha Mail). It's amazing how people could take pictures and make calls with the same thing for the first time in history. -
Blu-ray Disc
The Blu-ray Disc was created in 2002 by the Blu-ray Disc Association. Yes, that is all I could find for the inventor of the Blu-ray Disc. It allowed people to watch shows in movies in the highest quality at the time. They also had great storage capacity. While the Blu-ray Discs are out-dated today, they paved the way for other high-definition formats. -
Youtube
Youtube was created in 2005 by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. Youtube is the largest video sharing format on the internet. It allowed people to post their videos for the public to see. It also introduced Let's Plays, Youtube Poops, Video Playlists, and How To's. -
Wii
The Wii was invented by Nintendo in 2006. It was trying to compete with other consoles such as the Playstation and the Xbox. It brought us motion controls where players physically had to move their arms around while moving the wii-mote.
