Trojan War Summary
Paris kidnapped the most beautiful woman in the world named Helen. Her husband Menelaus gathered kings and soldiers from all over Gre1 to help him get his wife back. For 10 years the Greeks fought against Trojans, unfortunately the Greeks took a L. Soon Odysseus came up with a plan to trick the Trojans. There was a giant wooden horse that was built and left at the gates of Troy at night. -

Lotus Eaters Summary
Odysseus sent two men and a runner to learn the ethnicity of the men the land sustained. Soon they ran into Lotus Eaters who, showed no sign of harming them. The Lotus eaters offered sweet Lotus to their friends, and whomever ate the honeyed plant never had a interest in returning home. -

Lotus Eaters Analysis
The Lotus Eaters was the first sign to more tricks to come. The Lotus Eaters was a threat Odysseus and his men. The men in desperate need of resources fall into traps easily. When will the men ever realize that everybody is going to stand in there way as far as getting home. No matter if it's the hard way or the easy way each island will try to push them further from there goal. -

Cyclopes Summary
Odysseus and his men had found a cave with food and drinks, him and his men fell asleep. After a time, Cyclopes came in leading his sheep in the cave and placing the big bolder in front of the cave. The Cyclopes found Odysseus and his men asleep, he ate two and then went to sleep. The next day he repeated his actions including eating two of Odysseus men. -

Cyclopes Summary part two
One day Odysseus jumped in and offered the Cyclopes some wine. The Cyclopes was then drunk. Odysseus and his men heated the timber and put it in the Cyclopes eye. They proceeded with their plan and prepared the sheep for the escape plan. The next day Odysseus and his men held onto the sheep and left the cave. As soon as outside the cave, they ran to the ship and left. Once the ship was in the water, Odysseus revelaved his identity. -

Cyclopes Analysis
At first I thought Odysseus was just going to continue to let the Cyclopes eat his men day by day until he could find a way to escape on his own.With his brilliant plan only a couple of men suffered and the rest got to see another day.The Cyclopes situation not only showed Odysseus intelligence but how clever he is.The wine was a good idea and who knew wine had a effect on Cyclopes.But Odysseus also showed his coward side when he was leaving the island and then he decided to share his identity. -

Circe's Summary
Circe was a goddess and she can she the future.She can also predict other peoples goals. She is very enticing. She seems like she is very intrigued with Odysseus. For a while she took care of Odysseus and his men on her island. In the future she eventually has sex with Odysseus. -

Circe's Analysis
Analysis: Deep down I believe Circe really is just lonely and needed some company.The most important part was when Odysseus and his men realized they needed to return home. They were all in a trance and had to think of returning back home to their families. It took strength for the men to leave a island that basically provide them with everything. -

Sirens Summary
As soon as Odysseus and his men approach the island of the Sirens, Odysseus alone hears the song. As instructed by Circe's Odysseus plugs his men hears with beeswax and has his men behind him. The Sirens song promises to reveal the future. The Siren's song is so seductive that Odysseus basically begs to be released from it. -

Sirens Analysis
Odysseus knows that his men will not survive all the chaos. Still I felt he was brave when he faced the Sirens song and protected his men from one of the challenges. If he could have saved at least one of his men I believe he would've, but Odysseus realizes that he can't. So he uses his men to get him a step closer to home. -

Scylla and Charybdis Summary
Odysseus and his men must navigate through Scylla and Charybdis. Scylla is a six head monster who, when ships pass, swallows sailors heads. Charybdis is an enormous whirlpool that threatens to swallow the entire ship. As Odysseus and his men stare at Charybdis on the other side of the strait, the head of Scylla swoops down and contains 6 of the sailors. -

Helios Summary
Helios had cattle that no one was allowed to touch, let alone eat or kill the cattle. One day Odysseus feel asleep, and Eurylochus persuaded the men to eat the Cattle of the Sun. Odysseus woke to find his men had broken their oath and killed the cattle. Helios asked Zeus and the other gods to punish Odysseus crew to for killing his cattle. -

Helios Analysis
Odysseus men continue to prove that they don't listen to Odysseus nor do they trust him. Odysseus is not attentive for a while and his men go behind his back. On the island of the Sun Odysseus is sensible and Eurylochus is careless. The men made a fatal error while Odysseus is asleep. -

Suitor/Home Summary
The suitors are trying to win his wife's hand in marriage. The suitors have entered in a contest to shoot Odysseus bow closets to the target. The wife knows that no one but Odysseus can handle the bow so this is a way to stale for more time. Odysseus returns home and disguises as a old begger. He takes the bow and shoots Antinous under the chin. This surprises the suitors and his identity is still not reveled. -

The suitors disrespected Odysseus and his home. The suitors wanted Odysseus wife but she still had a feeling he was still alive. The plan Odysseus has is brilliant. Odysseus will fulfill his duties and reclaim his wife -

Trojan War Analysis: Even though I’m that time the people may have not had that it was a resemblance.
Trojan War summary: The Trojans assumed the Greeks had left and left a peace offering. The Trojans took the horse into the city and realized they were doomed. Analysis: The Trojan War showed how love is not only a rare feeling but also it’s a bond that you have with someone. Love is strong and when someone has this feeling it makes them react to things in there relationships. I know when vows are said the two people say in sickness and in health to death do us part. -

Aeolus Bag of Wind Summary and Analysis
Odysseus had a bag of wind that could help his men return home. Odysseus men thought the bag contained gold and silver. Unfortunately Odysseus wasn't able to use it because Aeolus told him not to. Aeolus didn't allow him to use it because he was doomed by the gods.
Analysis: Odysseus bag of wind could've been very useful to him and his men. The men didn't believe in Odysseus and they didn't have trust for him. Also Aeolus didn't have a lot of trust in Odyseeus. -

Scylla and Charybdis Analysis
Odysseus journey for his men is starting to come to a end. Odysseus is in a situation where he has to basically put his men before him. I feel like his men will eventually take matters into there own hands. His men have no trust in him and it will soon back fire.
