    In 1585 queen Elizabeth allowed Raleigh to send over 100 men from England to Roanoke Island (off the coast of North Carolina) after two of his explores found it to be a perfect place of settlement.

  • Dead

    Upon arrival in 1587,they found out the men in the fort were killed by some of Williams people.

  • Accepting Religion And freedom

    In the 1600's the Middle Colony accepting people of different religion and culture.

  • 100 men

    Twenty years later in 1607 a group of over 100 men landed on the banks of Virginia's James river which was hat healthy

  • Returning to England

    Captain Smith returned to England in 1609 when he because William Penn stopped visiting the settlement.

    1619 was a big year in Jamestown the first Elected Assembly was Established.It was called the house of Burgesses.

    In 1620 William"s parents had to find ways to protect them self's during bad weather
