    The fall of the Roman Empire meant that this once advanced society who invented aqueducts, coliseums, dome roofs, and had over 13 million square miles of land got taken over by Germanic tribes. These savages destroyed the Roman empire which showed the world that nothing was invincible, like the Roman empire thought they were.

    The start of the 2 Crusade represented the power the that the Pope held in the Medieval Ages and he could order whatever he wanted as long that it was accepted by God. Many soldiers went to Jerusalem to fight off Islam by order of the Pope and they where able to go against the Catholic rule, thou shall not kill, to thou shall not kill other Christians.

    MICHELANGELO FINISHED "THE DAVID"
    The role that Michelangelo played during the Renaissance and the late middle ages was that he contributed some of the worlds greatest art. His sculptures and paintings depicted the meaning of the Renaissance and demonstrated the meaning of humanism. It depicted the story of David and Goliath where Michelangelo was essentially David, the small boy and Goliath was the Medici, a very powerful force.

    The Diet of Worms was a conference, in Germany, held by King Henry IV where Luther presented his 95 theses. Germany at the time was oppressed by the Catholic church and the Emperor was going to use Luther's 95 Theses in order to fight against the Pope. By Luther being invited to this conference it showed that his theses were backed by many powerful leaders, in turn giving him confidence and power.
