When He was Discovered
Clyde Sukefort, a doger scout came up to Jackie and told him that the Brown Dogers were looking for really good players.
And said that Rickey heard of Robinson, and wanted to talk to him so he listened. -
Talking with Rickey
Branch Rickey had a sincere talk with Robinson to see if he could make the team. And he told the truth that Robinson is not a canidate for the Brown Dogers and that he was interested of making him a Brooklyn National Leaugue Club canidate. -
A warning
Branch Rickey warned Robinson what the whites willl do to him. They will taunt and goad him to try to make him react but he can't because he signed the agreement.
