Hailfax explosion
The Hailfax explosion was a decline for Canada because thousands of inocent people were killed and tramaitzed. The navy did not care about safty they only cared about getting the suppiles to the soliders. Also inocent people from the Montolenc were arrested for manslaughter because no one from the Imo survived to get the other side of the story and they wanted to arrest someone right away. -
The Kinmel Riot
The Kinmel Riot was a decline for Canada because soliders that were fighting for four years could not go back home and were not getting paid so they all ran out of money for food. During the riot some soliders were killed and arrested . -
Winnipeg General Strike
When the strike was over it was progress for Canada because every Canadian was being seen in a class. Also everyone got to have a say in how the post war government would run. -
Women are considered people
This was prgress for Canada because it is when women finally had a place in society, and got to have rights - such as voting.
