Paul the evangelist was the most important evangelist who spread Christianity far and wide. He was born in 10ad, in Tarsus, Turkey. He conveyed the message of God to people even though he was persecuted. He turned to God for a better life and turned out to be a great follower.

Nero becomes Roman Emperor

Nero became Roman emperor in 54 AD. He was a cruel and selfish emperor. As a result of him becoming emperor, Rome was burned and Christians were prosecuted.

Paul arrested in Jerusalem and imprisoned

Paul was imprisoned in 60 AD as a result of returning to Jerusalem and continuing to preach about God. Paul however kept on preaching about God even in Jail by writing letters to Churches of different countries and cities.

Paul preached about God across the world. During his time in prison, Paul wrote to many Churches and people. The letters were put into the Bible. Paul showed no fear of death and was obedient and loyal to God. He started writing in 61AD.

The great fire in Rome occured in 64AD as a result of Nero becoming emperor. Nero burned the city of Rome just to build a large palace for himself. He however blamed it on the Christians and then the persecutions of the Christians began.

Flavius Josephus, Jewish War

Flavius Josephus was part of the Jewish revolt in 65Ad and after being defeated, turned traitor and became part of the Roman empire. He prophesied that Vespasian would become emperor after Nero committed suicide.

Constantine allowed Christianity into Rome and in other countries. He formed the religion and with the help of bishops formed the Christian Church. Constantine became emperor in 337AD.
