Blitzkrieg is a type of warfare where the German troops would focus fire on one single place using planes. The reason this type of warfare was used was to create disorganization among the enemies and to confuse them. After using this type of warfare, Germany overran most of Europe.

Battle of Britain
German and British planes fought above the UK in a large disagreement. The fight started when Luftwaffe attacked several ships located right off Dover. The battle later became known as the largest campaign of bombings to this date.

Attack on Pearl Harbor
The U.S. base in Hawaii, Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japanese planes. The reason for the attack is that Japan wanted to destroy important American ships to stop America from interfering with their plans. This in turn brought the United States into WWII.

Battle of Midway
Around 6 months after the Pearl Harbor incident, the U.S. defeated Japan. The reason for going after Japan is to get revenge for trying to sink U.S. ships during the Attack on Pearl Harbor. Japan was attacking many countries but then the U.S. decided to take them out, which showed a turning point in the war.
