Google blogger
Google blogger has been an important part of my media course has nearly all my posts have been created on blogger since november. Blogger is bascially a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. The advantage of using this service that it allows my whole group to check each others blogs including the teacher who can mark our work. i recently used blogger to do question 4 of the evaluation task -
Youtube
YouTube is massive video-sharing website, we have chosen this as our main way of showcasing our teen movie opening as it acessible from tablets, computers, laptops, mobile phones and many other devices. This means that our audience will not find an issues trying to access our film, as YouTube is available all around the world. YouTube is also a free-video shairng website which is a bonus as we dont have to pay any money. -
JVC camera
In our teen openinng scene, our group used a JVC advanced 3 CCD Pro Camcorder. This camera allows you to take both 720p and 1080p HD video and also takes high quality Dolby audio. We used a variety of different camera shots which included: close-ups, mid-shots and long range shots. Overall, The camera was very effective at capturing high-quality video and audio. -
Firefox browser
Firefox is a Website browser which is also free to use for the public. The advantage of using this browser is that it is more up-to-date then safari browser and also has java and flash player embedded compared to safari which requires updating. The reason why I have used this program is becasuse is because prezi and slide.es was not working properly on safari browser so instead i used firefox which is much better in functionality -
Prezi
Prezi is a presentation program which is all saved online and uses virtual canvas. I used prezi to create the my evaluation part 4 question, the virtual effects and the seemlessness of the program made it my number one choice for question 4. The use of travelling between eac slide on prezi made it extremely easy to manoeuvre between each slide. Prezi also allows you to incorparate mages and youtube videos to make the presentation more entertaining. -
Timetoast
Timetoast is a piece of software that has allowed me to create and share timelines on the web. I have chosen to use this software as it allows me to data posts on a timeline and add pictures and text below it. I have used timetoast to write my evaluation question 6 as i wanted to use a variety of different technologies to write up my evaluation task.
