    Beginning of Gandhi's life
    Gandhi's parents were Putlibai Gandhi (Mother) and Karamchand Gandhi (Father). While Gandhi's mom did not have a job his father was a political figure or chief minister of a local ruling prince of Porbandar. Gandhi had five siblings, three sisters two brothers. While Gandhi didn't only have one religion he was born into a family of Hindus with his mother being the most devoted to Vishnu. At the age of 19, Gandhi left his home country to study law in London at the inner temple.

    At the age of 13, Gandhi was wed to a 14-year-old girl that was named Kasturba. In India, it is more common for there to be pre-planed marriages. After being married for about two years Kasturba was pregnant but shortly after their first child was born he sadly died. While most people would not last because they wouldn't be in love Gandhi and Kasturba fell in love and showed that to the world.

    After spending his whole life in his father's shadow Gandhi decided to go and learn about law in London at the inner temple. He decided to go at the age of 19 to one of the top four law universities in London. After Gandhi earned his degree he set up a practice in Bombay, but later transferred to an Indian Firm that sent him down to its office in South Africa. He brought his wife and children with him. He stayed in South Africa for about 20 years.

    While Gandhi was traveling with his family he was not able to change one certain thing about him or his family was their race. Due to there race, they were discriminated against. At his first appearance in the courtroom, he was asked various amounts of time to remove his turban. After this happened he said no and just then decided to leave the courtroom. In the paper after this, he was claimed to be an unwelcome visitor.

    While Gandhi lived in South Africa for about 20 years for a bit more than 10 years Gandhi was considered to be a Civil rights activist. He was inspired to do this because his degree was evolved around civil-disobedience. He decided to take this to be his major because he wanted to accomplish his father's dream for him.

    Due to all the things that were told to Gandhi part of the things told to him did hurt him but not all have. But while he was traveling to Pretoria, South Africa he was traveling in first class but he was being discriminated by a white man for him being in first class and later was told to go to third class, but Gandhi did not move and he marked his spot and defend himself. After he refused to get out of first-class they forced him to get off the train at the next stop because he didn't move.

    Trip back to India

    After a year-long contract that Gandhi had, he decided to go back to his home country of India. Because of what happened on the train he decided to go with his wife and family as third-class citizens. The trip back to India started in late 1896 and they go there in early 1897. Because of news about him getting around to a lot of people, there were hundreds to thousands of people that were there to welcome Gandhi and his family back to India.
