    Photoshop was a huge step forward in picture taking, it allowed us to edit out the imperfections and allowed filters to be created. This also led to a rise in the the "fakeness" of technology and social media. It was created and launched by Adobe.

    The first ever text! Sending Merry Christmas was the next step in instant messaging. This allowed for apps like Whatsapp, Messenger, and other to go through! Also allowed communication to become easier. Neil Papworth started SMS for Vodaphone way back when.

    DVD's, who even uses those anymore?
    Sony released the first DVD in 1996, a bigger storage capacity than CD's. This allowed the VHS to go, and the CD, a smaller version, to be carried around more. This allowed players to come out and play movies more electronically, and go more places.

    Google!
    Well, Google was the first real "search engine". Created by Larry Page and Sergey Brin as a study project, they utilized backlinks to create it. This allowed for information to become more accessible.
  • WWW- world wide web

    Believe it or not, Yahoo and Google came out before the Web came out. The Web, like Google, made information quicker and easier to access.
