    The New Kingdom was the first Kingdom to start conquering other lands. The New Kingdom Pharaohs were divided into two administrative sections, Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. Pharaohs were not considered to be gods, but Kings still were. They started to create new types of architecture.

    The Assyrian Kingdom was the only surviving empire after the collapse of the Bronze Age because of their strong military focus. They were one of the most powerful empires that this time period had ever seen.
