    Early Life
    Werner Heisenberg was born in Würzburg on 5th December 1901. He attended Maximilian school in Munich. In 1920n he went to the University of Munich where he studied physics. In 1923 he took his Ph.     Nobel Prize in Physics
    In 1932, Werner Heisenberg was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for the creation of quantum mechanics.
    During the next decade, Heisenberg molded important quantum theories of solid-state crystals, the structure of molecules, the scattering of radiation by nuclei, accounts of ferromagnetism and the Hall effect, and the first neutron-proton model of the nucleus.

  • Alsos Mission

    Alsos Mission
    Heisenberg was captured at the Farm Hall to be part of the Manhattan Project's Alsos Mission as the subject matter expert regarding science and the development of an atomic bomb. He stopped advising in 1946.
