Uncertainty Principle
Heisenberg formulated the 'Uncertainty Principle' which sets the limits of how precisely the velocity and position of a particle can be determined. Basically, we can never know both the speed and the position of particle, the more we learn about one, the less we will know about the other. author.fullName}. (n.d.). Werner Heisenberg. Nobel Peace Prize
Werner Heisenberg's was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his creation of quantum mechanics which eventually led to the uncovering of allotropic forms of hydrogen. Hydrogen is made up of two electrons and two protons that be present in an 'up' or 'down' spinning position either aligned parallel (Orthohydrogen) or antiparallel (Parahydrogen). -
Cosmic Rays
During the late 1930s, Heisenberg focused most of his work on high-energy Cosmic Rays. Through this work he developed the theory of explosion showers, contrasting the cascade theory, stating that several particles are produced in a single process when interacting with the atmosphere. -

Werner Heisenberg died on February 1, 1976 due to Cancer of the Kidney and Gall Bladder. He is buried at the Munich Waldfriedhof Cemetery in Bavaria, Germany. Marcusantoinerome. (n.d.). Cemeteries of Munich. http://plasmaphile.blogspot.com/2014/11/cemeteries-of-munich.html
