    What was Against Method about?

In this book, he argued with scientific studies and wrote that important scientists were not as important as everyone thought they were. Against Method concluded that there were no scientific rules that looked at the progress of science (Preston, 2020). For that reason, Feyerabend was viewed as an “irrationalist”, which can be defined as something that is not in accordance with; contrary (Oxford English Dictionary. (n.d.).

    Results of Against Method

Feyerabend got lots of hate for what he would write about, but Feryabend thought that the readers misread what Against Method or they simply did not get his style of writing. He was upset that many people did not catch on when he was trying to be funny or when he would play around, so he wrote a second book addressing everyone's comments, Science in a Free Society. (Preston, 2020).
