Baker Rifle
Ezekiel Baker was the first to standardize and develope the rifle. It was adopted and produced in 1800. The Baker Rifle shot 12 rounds, 11 rounds hit its target 300 yards away. Once it was remodified the rifle was able to shoot .625 calibre carbine bullets.

Congreve Rocket
Sir William Congreve designed and developed the Congreve Rocket. These rockets were sold fuel rockets, by 1813 there were three classes designed. Heavy- 300 lbs about 26 ft in length. Medium- 24 to 42 lbs and about 20 ft in length. Light- 6 to 18 lbs and between 8 to 14 ft. The medium and light could travel about 2,000 yards and could be fired from a tripod. These rounds could be case shot, shell shot or explosive. These weapons was used by the Royal Marines Artillery during the war of 1812. -
Hall Rifle
The M1819 Hall rifle was patented by John Hancock Hall and adopted by the U.S. Army in 1819. The weapon was aout 60 inchs in length and weight about 10 lbs and shot .525 ball rounds.

Derringer
Henry Deringer manufactured the "Derringer" in 1825. This weapon was a single shot muzzleloader with a flintlock firing mechanism. John Wilkes Booth used the Baby Deringer to assassinate President Lincoln on April 14, 1865

Sliding Breech
Jonathan Browning invented the Sliding Breech repeating rifle called the Harmonica Gun or steel slide in 1834. This weapon had a number of chambers bored in it was was filled with projectiles. These came in single action or double action; pisol or rifle forms.

1st Practical Revolver
Samuel Colt received U.S. patent for a revolver to fire multiple rounds without reloading. in 1846 U.S. government ordered 1,000 Colt revolvers for the Mexian War.

Breech Loading Cannon
Benjamin Chambers patented the Breech Loading Cannon. This cannon was unique for two reasons, (1) it was a rifled cannon (2) it was to be loaded in the rear instead of the front. The cannon allows for longer projectile and better accuracy, do to the rifling of the round.

LeMat Revolver
Jean LeMat designed and patent the LeMat Revolver in 1855. This revolver was a .42 or .36 caliber cap and ball black power revolver. This twin barrel, nine shot revolver was used during the American Civil War.

Gatling Gun
The Gatling Gun has multiple barrels around a central axis firing rounds at a rapid rate. First used by the Union Army in 1864 during the Civil War. Original gun had 6 barrels with .58 caliber rounds. Averaged 350 rounds a minute

Colt House Pistol
The Colt Cloverleaf was also called the Colt House Pistol. The pistol had 4 single action .41 caliber chambers. The chamber looked like a cloverleaf, giving it its name. This was the first revolver designed for cartridges.

1887 Lever Action
John Browning designed the first successful repeating shotgun. This weapon weights about 8 lbs with a barrel length between 20 to 30 inches shooting either the 10 or 12 gauge rounds.

John Browning designed the .30-30 Winchester. This was the first sporting cartridge for smokeless power. The magazine was shaped like a box that was inserted underneath the rifle, this was the last of the lever action rifles. The rifles were designed for the Army of the Russian Empire.
