Nathaniel Starts a Business: Generativity vs. Stagnation
Nathaniel starts a bee farm. He sells his honey, gives tours to his farm, and helps others set up farms of their own. Nathaniel hopes to encourage others to pursue beekeeping. Erikson's seventh stage, Generativity vs. Stagnation, involves a person's contribution to society and the upcoming generation. An individual will either provide to others or enter into a state of stagnation through self-absorption.
