Chesapeake-Leopard Affair (June 22, 1807)
The Chesapeake- Leopard affair was a naval disagreement between British fourth-rate HMS Leopard and the American frigate USS Chesapeake because the British attacked the American ship and removed some of the sailors. The significance of the Chesapeake- Leopard Affair was that it showed the degrading commerce and alliance relationship between the United states and Great Britain. -
Impressment of sailors
After the United States proclaimed to be neutral between the French and Great Britain, Great Britain started attacking and harassing the American ships that traded with France. Britain also took and impressed some of the American Sailors. -

Treaty of Ghent (December 24, 1814)
The Treaty of Ghent was signed by British and American delegates to the war of 1812. The treaty gave all conquered land back to the colonies. -
Battle of New Orleans
The Battle of New Orleans was led by Andrew Jackson. The battle was fought between Britain and the United States and it was the final major, significant battle during the war of 1812. Ending in the Unites States victory.
