(they proposed grievances against Madison, threatened to leave Union, wanted to add restrictions and laws to constitution.

    It provided for the cessation of hostilities, the restoration of conquests, and a commission to settle boundary disputes.(They can't afford to fight so they have this treaty)
  • Battle of New Orleans

    The British led by General Edward Pakenham and the Americans led by General Andrew Jackson fought in New Orleans where the Americans were outnumbered 2:1. The Americans ended up coming out with a victory.
