    Agreement between England and the U.S. by which limited trade relations were established.

    He warned Americans to remain a neutral party in foreign conflicts, and to celebrate their achievements.

    The U.S. Congress legislated that all U.S.ports would be closed, this was Thomas Jefferson's response to British and French interference.
