Siege of Detroit
British Commander, Issac Brock, led a british army to a victory that forced General Hull to surrender.

Battle of Queenston Heights
Ended the second American attempt at invading Canada. Victory went to the British but General Brock was killed in battle.

Battle of Raisin River
Branch of Kentucky troops were set to force the British out of Frenchtown... Unfortunately, the American troops were forced to surrender after being taken captive by the British and the Indians

Laura Secord
A canadian woman whose husband was wounded in battle. She overheard that the Americn troops were planning to ambush the British at Beavers Dam. She carried the message 20 miles around the American army to warn the British troops.

Battle of Chateauguay
A force consisting of many Canadian troops, under the command of Lt. Colonel Charles de Salaberry, forced the American army under the command of General Wade Hampton, back to America after attempting to invade Canada. THis was an a source of enourmous pride for Canada.

Treaty of Ghent
Ended the war between the United States and the United Kingdom. It restored relationships between countries. No countries lost any territory.
