Topthorn, Joey's only friend, suddenly dies from a heart failure, and Joey is left alone. -
Joey meet Albert again
Joey is taken to the veterinary hospital, were AAlbert was helping the army. Joey and Albert were reunited and Joey survived tetanus. -
The horses are auctioned off
The horses were going to be auctioned off ans separed from the soldiers. Joey is bought by emily's grandfather who end up giving the horse to Albert. -

Albert and Joey return to England were Alebrt's family and wife is, they live happily all togheter.
