Walt Disney works as an American Ambulance corps in France (illegally).

Disney meets Iwerks

Mar 20, 1920

Ub Iwerks and Walt design the Iwerks-Disney Commercial Artists but the company fails a month later.

Disney on his own.

Oct 15, 1923

Walt Disney creates Laugh-O-Grams in Kansas City and eventually goes bankrupt. Disney moves to Hollywood and establishes the Disney Brother Studios with Roy Disney.

New Name

May 25, 1926

Disney Brothers rename studio "Walt Disney" and soon create some of their most famous cartoons.

All or nothing

Jun 22, 1942

Almost all Disney character from Goofy to Donald were promoting the war. Mickey mouse had his comic strips "Mickey Mouse on the home Front" and Bambi had his fight against the Axis powers in "Volunteer Army". Minnie even told Americans saving cooking oil will keep them strong in the war.

Walt Disney started to create films for propaganda and morale boost for war.

The Spirit of 43

In the Spirit of 43' Donald Duck examplified to Americans why it was important to save their money. It was because they needed to pay their taxes on time for war!

Between the 1930's and 1960's the Walt Disney production studio had amazing succsess. After creating Mickey Mouse in 1928 his ideas start to flow. Out comes : The Three Little Pigs, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, Sea Island, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, Mary Poppins, It's a Small World and many more.
