Arrived at Rio de Janeiro
The FIrst Fleet arrived at Rio de Janeiro and stayed a month to pick up plants and seeds to plant in New South Wales. They also fixed there broken sails. -
Arrived at Table Bay [Now called Cape Town]
The Fleet stayed a month and the supply ships took on live stock including sheep, horses and goats.
The Fleet survived TREMENDOUS storms in the Atlantic Ocean. -
In the middle of the Indian Ocean
The Fleet were in the middle of the Indian Ocean. -
Arrived at Van Diemans Land [now Tasmania]
The Fleet were in Adventure Bay. -
Arrived at Botany Bay
Arrived at Botany bay after sailing south of Tasmania. -
Went ashore of Port Jackson
The members of the First Fleet went ashore Port Jackson to start a settlement. The captain, Authur Phillip named the place of landing Sydney Cove after Lord Sydney.
