Measurable Goal
60% of students will be able to identify key milestones in the timeline of voting rights by the end of 3rd quarter.
30% of students will be able to recall who had voting rights first, second and so on by the end of 3rd quarter.
10% of students will be able to retain 3 of the major milestones of voting rights history by the end of 3rd quarter.
100% of students by the end of 3rd quarter will understand why having the right to vote is important.

Standards
I have incorporated Standard #2 by addressing diversity and culture in voting rights history.
I have incorporated Standard #5 by providing solid content with meaning so that students will be invested in the lesson and master the content -
UDL
Action & Expression is one component of UDL used in this activity. In addition to this timeline, I will be asking the students how they would feel if someone made a rule so they couldn't vote? Maybe have a voting box and let some students go up and vote but not others.
Also use the Engagement component of UDL. This lesson will help students understand why ALL citizens should be able to vote. -
Benefits to students with and without disabilities
For students that may have a hearing impairment, or who can't concentrate with a lot of words, this timeline app is great. You can upload photos to keep things interesting. It makes the presentation less word heavy. It is a great tool for direct instruction. It is also great for students without disabilities for the exact same reason that it gives pertinent information that the class can then discuss in greater detail out loud as a whole.

Other content areas
A timeline review could definitely be used in English class when students are reading books written in different eras. When I taught Chemistry, there was a section where we talked about different scientists throughout history, and this app would have been an effective way to go through the evolution of science.
