Only white men were allowed to vote before the 14th and 15th amendment was established, after these amendments were established the rights started to change! -

The 14th and 15th amendment was ratified giving the rights of all citizens born in the U.S. the right to vote -
Native Americans
The congress allows Native Americans born in the U.S. the right to vote -
Age Change
The age requirement changed from age 21 down to 18, now letting 18 year olds the right to vote mainly because there was young soldiers between ages 18-21 fighting in the war. -
