Visual Representation: Google Slides (Brand Redesign - Part 3) Timeline

  • Re-Branding Choice

I chose the Starbucks logo for a more friendly and less offensive logo.
  • Brand Vision/Artist Statement

The first step to our Re-Branding Assignment was to write out my ideas and plans for the new brand
  • Vision Board

    Vision Board
This is where I took all of my thinking and applied it to my vision board. My thinking consisted of my theme, fonts, images, etc.
  • 10 Rules of Composition

In class we covered and discussed the 10 Rules of Composition to get a sense of what good design looks like for our logos.
  • Learning the Tools

One of the very important tools in photoshop we learned how to use is the Pen Tool. Along with this tool we learned how to use many different tools in photoshop and be able to use them effectively before making my logo.
  • Process Sketches

This is where I drew out some of my ideas and then chose my best idea. Then I drew the one I liked the bets larger and colored it. Once I was done I could start making the logo on photoshop.
  • Start to Make Logo on Photoshop

I started making my logo on photoshop. I started outling my cup. I used the pen tool because it was what helped to make the lines and curves I needed.
  • Photoshop Day 2

Another work day; where I finished outling my cup and started putting my coffee beans in the cup. The beans that were "overflowing" or "falling out" of the cup, i used the eraser tool to fix it up.
  • Photoshop Day 3

Continuing in class I finished the the coffee beans and i started working putting the logo on the front of the cup with the yellow gradient.
  • Final Logo

    Final Logo
This last day I edited my logo and made sure it was done. Looking back to my drawn rough copy I could see the difference in drawing the logo and using photoshop to create it.
