King Canute of Denmark, also known as King Cnut of Denmark, became the King of England. He had first invaded England in 1013 CE and when Sweyn died because of his Viking Army, that is when King Canute of Denmark became King of Denmark. He was also known as Cnut the Great, King of England, Denmark, Norway and parts of Sweden. -

The End of the Viking Age
The Viking Age ended when Norman Duke William invaded Britain where the Battle of the Hastings took place and he crowned the king of England. Also because of Christianity, it spread to Norse people and they were convinced of God's power and capability. The Viking Age also ended because of all the alliances and treaties they were making countries resulting them not having any country to raid.
