Smith & Wesson Model 67
The SW Model 67 saw limited action because of the Model 1911, but this 6-shot revolver was still widely used by squad leaders. Since this gun is double action,the gun preforms 2 actions at once, it reloads very quickly. Still the SW Model 67 was no match for the Model 1911. -
Colt 1911
This semi-automatic 2 action Model 1911 made by Colt was the most widely used pistol during the war. The Colt had a 7 round mag and fired an 45acp. This gun had iron sights and the ability to fire even with the mag. out of the gun. Over 2 million of the 1911 have been made sence 1911. -
Browning 1917
The 1917 is a water cooled belt-fed machinegun. It's 104lbs., fires a 30-06 with a fire rate of 700rds/min. This gun is a three man team to pack around. The water cooled method was ill plained and they went back to the air cooled. -
Tompson Supmachinegun
During the M1 Thompson get many nicknames as the "Trench Sweeper", "Chicago Piano", "Chicago Typewriter", "The Chopper" and the "Trench Broom". but the most famous is "Tommy Gun". this "Tommy Gun" has a 20 to 30 round box mags and a 50 round drum mag. the M1 Thompson fires a 45.acp at 700rds/min. The Tompson has been around sence WW1 and was very popular within the troops. -
Browning HBM2 50Cal
This heavy machine gun fires a 12.7mm or a 50cal. BMG. with a firing rate of 550 rds/min. and 110 round metalic belts. The M2 is limited to 75 round burst due to the dangerous heat that the barrel endures at the time, that buts the burst at 8.18 seconds. The velocity of the 50cal. BMG. is 2,810ft/sec. coming out of the muzzle, thats 2/3 of a mile in 1 second. Due to the slowing down of the bullet a 1.5 mile shot as a 4 second travel time. -
M1 Carbine
The M1 Carbine was made as a light firearm for tank units and clerks behind deck but found its way to the front lines and was favored by the troops, mostly the paratroopers how used the M1 Carbine because for it light wieght and different veriations, scopes, stocks, iron sights, ect. This M1 fires a 30mm carbine round and was made by Winchester arms as a hunting rifle. The M1 Carbine uses a 15-30 round box mags (detechable). At the time of the war 10 differnt companies made the M1 Carbine. -

This semi automatic rifle is single to 3-round burst, it shoots the standerd nato round of 5.56 or a 223 rifle round and has a 20 or 30 round detachable box mag -
M60E1
The M60-E1 is an all purpose machine gun because of its light weight and the different barrel sizes. This makes it able to be hold by one man, mounted at fortified location, or mounted on a truck. The M60-E1 fires a 308. Winchester and fires at 600 rds/min. The one thing that is different then the other belt feds is it uses disintegrating belts. -
Springfield M14
The M14 is a semi-automatic rifle and is known as the decendent of the M1 Garand. Using a 20 round detachable box mag, the M14 was later modified to a compitition version this version was renamed the M21 -
M63A1 Stoner
This light machinegun fires the 223 round and was made to fire a 30 round box mag. or a belt. This was the last Stoner gun made. The troops liked them but the money said no, they did not sell enough to keep manifacturing them and stoped. -
Mac-10
The full-automatic Mac 10 has a 30 or 32 round detachable box mag. With the iron sights or scope mount. This pic shows the MAC 10 with a suppressor and a fold-out stock. The MAC10 fires from the open bolt and has a fire rate of 1,146rds/min. -
M203
The M-203 fires a 40mm shell and has a kill radius of 5 meters. The M-203 can also fire flares amd smoke, There are modifications for concussion and tear gas for the out of control riots. The M203 is still used today as an attachment on the bottom of the M4 and M16s.
