    Battle of Dien Bien Phu defeats French forces
    Vietnamese forces rage with French troops for 55 days. French commanders orders his troops to resurrect them by suspension. But Vietnamese shattered their forces although large losses were incurred by the French army. This led to fallout of French colonial regime in Vietnam.

    President Johnson signs the Resolution, four days after the U.S.S. Maddox incident. He pledge to control whatever necessary to defend southeast Asia. The Resolution would ultimately take control of the situation in Vietnam.

    The last city still under control by South Vietnamese, is defeated by communist forces entering the gates surrounding the capitol. This shoved final round of defeat for Americans and ended the Second Indochina War with millions of South Vietnamese soldiers more than 100,000 civilians dead.
