26th amendment
Changed the voting lower from the age of 21 to the age of 18. -
Withdrawal of US troops.
The withdrawal of US troops has started. All of the remaining soldiers in Vietnam were sent home on March 26, 1973 under the rule of the new peace treaty signed by both North and South Vietnam, and also the United States. -
War Power Act
Establish some limits on executive power. It required the president to inform congress of any commitment of troops abroad within 48 hours and withdraw them in 60-90 days unless congress explicitly approved the troops commitment -
South Vietnam Surrneders
North Vietnam launched a full scale invasion on South Vietnam. The United States did not contribute aid in the fight like they had promised, therefore South Vietnam was forced to surrender. -

Vietnam is unified as a communist country, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
