  • The first computer

    the first computer was made by a German civil engineer called Konrad Zuse. He called the first computer the Z1 after the first letter of is last name.
  • Two player game

    A man named William Higinbotham creates a game that can be played by two people
  • First PC game?

    the first PC game to be released was "spacewar!" which was programmed by Steve Russell and was released in February 1962. although there are some early examples of computer game before this one, this is considered the first true computer game.
  • Magnavox Odyssey

    The first house hold console is released which is called the Magnavox Odyssey and Atari is founded. The odyssey had an 8-bit Intel 8048 CPU, has a 64B RAM and had a resolution of 280x192. it also only had 16 colours and four were shown on screen.
  • The worlds first mobile phone

    Motorola was the first company to produce a handheld mobile phone. the developer, Martin Cooper, made his first call to Dr. Joel S. Engel of bell Lad how was his rival.
  • The first gaming PC

    The first Personal Computer was introduced in 1975 as came as a kit of separate kits including the MITS Altair 8800 and the IMSAI 8800. the first gaming PC did not start with IBM or Microsoft
  • Atari home computer

    In 1977 Atari releases the video computer system which is later renamed as the 2600. it had a 6507 processor, a 128 bytes RAM and the device included 128 colour which is a huge improvement from the Odyssey.
  • Worst game ever?

    Atari release a game called E.T which is known by many games as the worst video game to be ever released
  • Nintendo up rise

    A Japanese company called Nintendo lunches their NES console along with breakout games like super Mario Bros. saga also launches their system
  • Game Boy

    Nintendo's handheld device the Game Boy hits the market
  • Sonic the hedgehog

    Sega releases their first sonic the hedgehog game and Nintendo releases the 16- bit super Nintendo
  • PlayStation

    Sony releases their first house hold console called the PlayStation. it was released with a 32- bit RISC CPU, 2MB of RAM and a huge 16.7 million colours.
  • First mobile phone game

    The first mobile phone game was introduced in 1994 and was a pre-installed form of Tetris. it first was released on the Hagenuk MT-2000 and two years later Nokia designed a version of snake on some of their phone models.
  • Nintendo 64

    Nintendo release the Nintendo 64 their first 64- bit house hold gaming console. The Nintendo 64 had a 64- bit NEC VR4300 CPU and a 64- bit GPU.
  • Sony's PlayStation 2

    Sony's PlayStation 2 hit the streets and becomes the all- time best selling console to date. the PlayStation 2 had a MIPS III R5900- based emotion engine and a 16kB instruction cache
  • Handheld devices

    Nintendo releases their new hand held device, the Nintendo DS, and PlayStation introduces the PSP
  • X- Box

    Microsoft release their first console in the X- Box line the X-Box 360. the X-Box 360 had an triple-core 64-bit PowerPC named Xenon as it CPU and had 512 MB of GDDR3 main memory RAM.
  • Sony and Nintendo rivalry

    PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii launches in 2006 by Sony and Nintendo. the PlayStation has a cell microprocessor CPU and a a 256MB XDR for its main RAM.
  • Motion control

    Microsoft reinvented motion control, the Kinect, as an add on to their X- Box 360 device
  • X-Box one

    Microsoft launches the first version of X-Box one.When the X-Box was released it included a 8 core AMD custom CPU and a 8GB of RAM.
  • The next PlayStation console

    On the 15th of November 2013 Sony released the next console in the PlayStation line called PlayStation 4. it has an 8 core CPU and a main memory RAM with 8GB GDDR5.
