    President William McKinley served as the 25th President of the united states. He was assassinated in Buffalo, New York within the first six months of his second term. This made him the third President to be assassinated in U.S history. He was shot by Leon Czolgosz who held socialist and anarchist ideology.

    The Wright Brothers were once bicycle mechanics who had a dream to create the first heavier-than-air aircraft. On December 17, 1903, the brothers made history and accomplished their first flight. This paved the way for the aviation industry to start.

    President William Taft served as the 27th president of the United States. He was a big man that weighed over 350 pounds and he supposedly became stuck in the White House Bathtub. He passed away later due to heart disease.

God proved man wrong, and with a series of factor of the ship sailing to fast for icy conditions, budget cost while building, and miscommunication led the largest ship to sink after striking an iceberg. An estimated 1,500 people lost their lives in the wreck.

    The sinking of a European passenger ship which had American citizens abroad added to the list of reason why the US would enter WWI later in history. The Germans sunk the Lusitania with U-boats in unrestricted submarine warfare. The German's claimed that the shipped housed munitions and other supplies for their opposing force in the war.

    The United States enters the war on the Allied side. The United States already had economic interest on the Allied side with JP Morgan and other lenders funding the war effort before the US decision to enter. More than 2 million US troops fought in the War.

    This amendment banned the manufacturing, transportation, or sale of alcoholic beverages within the country. The amendment went into effect on January 1, 1920. This amendment was later repealed by the 21st amendment.
  • 19th Amendment

    19th Amendment
    The Nineteenth Amendment was added in part by the Women's suffrage movement. The Amendment granted anyone of any sex the right to vote.
