This was the period of time in the U.S. Right after the Civil War ended and there was distruction all over the North and South. So during this time all the citizens did was help rebuild and restore America to its glory. -
The Battle of Wounded Knee
This was once again another massacre which many Indians were slaughtered at, and the American military men just raped and pilaged their tribes village. -
The Panic of 1893
This was short after the Rebuild Era. During this time the Economy nearly doubled in size, and new technology was being introduced left and right. If you could not produce a new technology then you either went bankrupt, or someone who was a hungry successful industrialist would bring you up to the top. -
The First World War

The Great Depression
The Great Depression began with the Stock Market crash, on Black Tuesday. The reason for it crashing was becasue there was stocks being bought but no money was being payed for. Pearl Harbor
On this day an American Naval base located in Hawaii was suprise attacked by a fleet of Japanese kamakazi airplanes. They destroyed the whole Naval fleet located there and killed alomost every person in the base. This attack made America join the second world war and fight against Japan. Holocaust
This was when Hitler and his Nazis took Jew, pysicaly and mentaly challened people, gypsies, and anyone else that would ruin the perfect race, and put them in concentration camps. In these camps they would be forced into hard labor, and then killed for no reason or just for fun. The Vietnam War
This war was the longest war in the history of the United States of America. Despite the decades of resolve, the billions and billions of dollars, the 60,000 American lives, the U.S. Failed to achieve its goal and its objective. Black Power Movement
This movement was influenced by the none other Malcom X. This movement rejected the policy of nonviolence at all costs and even believed integration was not even a desirable short-term goal. Feminist Movement
This was casue by woman feeling like they were not getting treated the way they deserved to be treated. During the 1950's many women felt discouraged and like they were not getting the rights they deserved becasue they were told to be house wifes. Watergate Scandal
On this day Men broke into the Democratic National Committee Headquarters to steal information and files. It was said the Nixon liked ot record the conversations he had and many of the conversations were about the Scandal. The internet was a new thing to the people of American and they didn't understand what it was used for.
