    The Emergency Banking Relife act was an act passed to regulate the banking system. They passed it due to fears of bank closures. People were rushing to withdraw their money they had at the bank which caused many to close.

    The civilian Conservation Corps was for unemployed men without families to become employed. The jobs were all unskilled labor jobs and all helped the US government.

    The point of the Agriculture Adjustment Act was to raise the money farmers recieved from crops. It got farmers to stop overplanting which reduced the quantity but raised the price.

    The point was to help people, who couldnt pay for their homes, to keep their homes instead of becoming homeless. They gave bonds which were used to pay mortgage loans.

    The purpose was to creat jobs for unemployed americans. They were trmporary manual labor jobs. The jobs helped imporve buildings, roads, and bridges.

    It's an agency that created the Securities and Exchange Act which regulated the stock marked and resrticted margin buying. It makes sure the law is followed in the securities industry.

    It was created to electrify farms. It wasn't very successful and many people opposed it. It established many electric cooperatives.
  • National Labor Relations Board

    National Labor Relations Board
    It defined unfair labor practices and settled disputes between employers and employees. It also made sure there were elections for union leadership/representation.
  • Social Security Administration

    It provided a pension for retired workers and their spouses and helped people with disabilities. It gave people, who couldn't work, the money that workers earned from their paychecks.
  • United States Housing Authority

    It provided federal loans for low-cost public housing. It helped who would otherwise be homeless find a home and pay for it.
