The French and Indian War
The French and Indian War started due to whether or not the Ohio River was a part of the British Empire. The Intolerable Acts
The law shut down Boston harbor, the Quartering Act authorized British commanders to house soldiers in private homes and buildings. Writer Thomas Paine publishes his pamphlet, Common Sense. The pamphlet conveyed his arguments in favor of American Independence.
